Clarification for the record "Botulism" and "Buffalo" in the "Veterinary Active Surveillance Report". Steps 1-5. There are no veterinary AS session records for this disease and species, however, there is a Veterinary Active Surveillance Campaign record for Botulism disease and Buffalo species:
This confirms presence of Botulism/Buffalo record in the report. The Campaign is 'new" and has no veterinary active surveillance sessions created yet. This is why a search for Veterinary AS sessions with Botulism provides a correct response - "no records found".
Clarifications for the step #7:
Which disease was considered? "Bovine Anaplasmosis"? If yes,
There is a veterinary active surveillance campaign for bovine anaplasmosis:
Sincere there are no Sessions to collect blood samples for Bovine anaplasmosis - the count of samples is 0 (zero).
Step #8. Defect is confirmed. Two buffalo samples are missing for Brucellosis Abortus in the Report
Step 9 - Brucellosis - Meltiness - should show 2 samples on the report. (See screen shot of report provided)
Clarifications: The Session ID VASTBTBZ2200WP has two samples collected in the Detailed Information:
The Report displays a correct count of two samples collected:
There are two veterinary AS campaigns for brucellosis melitensis, however, there is only one Campaign for Brucellosis -Melitensis and Sheep: There is a correct count of planned samples - 947.
Clarification for
There are no veterinary AS Campaigns for Brucellosis Canis:
Hence the number of planned samples to collect is 0 (zero).
Script revision suggestion: Include campaigns and sessions when instructing on how to verify. Currently unclear/only refers to sessions.
