Canada data up #37

Canada data now displays correctly on the site. (A minor bug fix to the mouseover text, as well.)

The mouseover text was displaying the incorrect date - it was displaying as the day as the day of the week, not as the day of the month.

(The branch is merged! I also added proper credits for the Canadian data, as well as a .gitignore file)

OK good! I had noticed the odd behavior and had it on my "to-do list" to figure out what was going on, but hadn't figured it out yet. Thanks for fixing that!
