Zoom is jittery in Safari, and does not work in Chrome (it works however nicely in FireFox).

How are you zooming/ in which circumstances does this happen? I can't reproduce this in Chrome/Safari, what I'm seeing is that once in a while the zoom can get stuck if you're zoomed in a lot.

It happens when I use a trackpad.

On my laptop (macbook pro), two fingered zoom works on these 3 browsers (it's a tiny bit choppy on all of them and it's actually choppier/buggier on firefox), pinch to zoom works on none but it's not configured right so that's to be expected.
