low + high pass filter effect #13

Open jakino0 opened 1 year ago

Hi Eduard! Are there any possibilities to modify the Ba PEQ so that it can function as a high or low pass filter? On the new B/G four series there are two effects "High EQ" and "Bass EQ" which are the LPF and HPF.

Also there is another effect (name is Ac Bs Pre) on ms60b which has "depth" function which works like HPF. Maybe can add the LPF function?

I hope my idea/proposal may interest you.

thanks.

Hi,

I worked on this quite long time ago, but I remember EQs (I do not remember if both para and fixed band) were made as "the code" + "frequency + q". Maybe it is possible to manipulate those to be LPF and HPF, because I dimly remember some options for first and last band in config to be "da cutoff". If someone ever goes there, it is possible, because all frequency and q configuration is just a column of numbers.

In my current life, I do not have for music or pet projects, so all my work on this project is on hiatus. I hoped that someone else will pick up the banner and do it, especially seeing how much effort people already put into multistomps. But alas.

In any case, thank you for suggestion, LPF and HPF were on my "pedal wanted" list as well.

If I ever get back to this project, my 1st priority will be true stereo processing (dropped in the middle of final R&D push because of the war), and EQ could be a good starting point for next "utility required" things.
