Thank you for the PR :+1: I don't look for changes here so often - sorry for the delay. While looking at my xorg.conf for ASUS_T91 (https://github.com/EMGD-Community/intel-binaries-linux/blob/master/config/xorg.conf/ASUS_T91.conf) could you add Option "ALL/1/Port/*/General/name" with friendlier names? They appear in EMGD configuration tool.

Additionally I would prefer to increase the VideoRAM for better performance. For example if you plan to install libVA + XBMC (haven't tested Kodi so far). Then it would make video acceleration working. Intel prefers min 256MB for that. I'm even not familiar with this line https://github.com/joazesi/intel-binaries-linux/blob/patch-1/config/xorg.conf/VGN-P11Z.conf#L13 . Reading the user guide (https://github.com/EMGD-Community/intel-binaries-linux/blob/master/emgd-v1-18-user-guide.pdf) says to use Option "ALL/1/General/VideoRAM "XY"

Good luck and many thanks (again)!

I have successfully tested this config on my Sony Vaio VGN-P11ZR Without config, only black screen, sometimes flashed a lightdm page. Text consoles also had problem. With config works much better, both graph and text consoles, but after sleep - only text consoles left. Graph console become black, as promissed. Ubuntu 16.04 i686 with lp:~thopiekar/emgd
