I tried EMGD driver with kernel 4.4.0, and its not working, i am getting tty1 console. Is there any solution?
Well, looking into the mailing list entries and patching the DRM sources, if possible. If not keep using an older kernel 😉

So, is the problem now fixed? I'm on emgd-driver
version 1.16-201704301034+emgd~rev164~ubuntu16.04.1
I guess it will need updates to the DRM code again.
I'll probably need to take a look at kernel cgit again...
