As it says on the tin...

I was not able to locate anything regarding fixing sleep/wake.

Running Ubuntu Mate, 22.10, kinetic. Asus C423N, Rabbid with MrChromebox's UEFI.

Audio is working from the script on his github. Sleep appears to work, puts system in sleep (i assume so as charging LED blinks orange until it's opened or a key is hit. ) When it wakes it appears to reboot. Shows Coreboot logo and boots OS again.

Had similar issue, with Asus C223NA (BABYMEGA) removed battery and flashed again (Had to remove battery, due to issue after flashing 4.16, and could not upgrade to 4.17). Running Ubuntu 22.04 and latest MrChromebox 4.17-2 firmware. No issues. Sleep works, open laptop, hit key and back again working. There is script wise no change for sleep. However I am using custom ACPI tables (dumped ACPI tables created for my laptop by ChromeOS). Will check if this is the reason it's working. Get back to you.

Yeah, tried a reflash and it didn't make any changes. Still appears as a normal boot from poweroff when attempting to resume. I've dumped the ACPI tables from within Linux... Can share, though not sure that's of any help.
