There are still a few typos in the Guidelines that could be fixed. Further, is this the place to put a few more details on what checks actually need to be fullfiled (e.g. what style checks, etc) or is there another source? Then we would need to link on this.

I added some more explanation to the style checks and added the description of @ChristophWWagner how we organize our branches.

What else might the astute contributor be missing?
