Parts that can be developed in parallel: (what we can do now)

1.Front-end and Back-end Infrastructure Setup:

• Back-end: The database models (in models.py), basic application configuration (in config.py), and the initial routing setup (in routes.py) can be developed simultaneously.
  • Front-end: Concurrently, the front-end team can start designing and implementing static pages, such as CSS styles (static/css), JavaScript functionalities (static/js), and basic HTML templates (templates). 80%✅

    2.UI Design and API Design:

  • UI Design: Front-end developers can design the interface and user experience independently of the back-end data. ✅
  • API Design: Back-end developers can design the API interfaces based on front-end needs and application functionalities.

    3.Documentation Writing (keep updating...)✅:

    Documentation (like README.md) and development plans can be updated and maintained.

There are some parts can be developed in parallel, such as database. And we'd like to get everyone's thoughts before proceeding databse part. What does everyone think about starting on the database now? Are there any other considerations we should discuss first?

Thank you for the update! We can start working on the database next, and also search and add some DIY-related content. This would also make it easier for us to see the front-end styles more visually and allow us to make further modifications to the code.
