6 months ago Hi Jen, https://eol.org/data/media_manifest.tgz This is a pasted URL in OpenData. It is not an uploaded file. This means the file is in the eol.org file system (not in CKAN). I will ask Jeremy, where can we actually get this file or if the URL is just temporarily inaccessible and can be revived. Thanks.

6 months ago @jhammock Thanks to Jeremy @JRice the file has been re-generated now. I was told that normally the file is generated on the first Friday of every month.

6 months ago Thanks, gents! Am I duly corrected that this export is @JRice 's baby? I have been given a use case to provide similar files for video and audio. I imagine keeping the three files separate would be best, as the new ones will be much smaller. Jeremy, if this will take significant effort I'm happy for you to delegate to @eliagbayani if practical; otherwise I'll put it on your list.

@eliagbayani I think I'd like to add something to the media manifest but I haven't been able to access it so this is an uncertain start. Sorry!
https://eol.org/data/media_manifest.tgz is a lovely short form, but it's not responding (presumably for the current CKAN reasons) and I'm not sure how to reach it per your url-surgery instructions, so (hoping the file is still out there somewhere) I haven't reviewed it.
What I'm not sure of is whether it includes only images, or also audio and video files. Actually, either way is fine, but I'd like to know, and to make the description in opendata explicit about this.
Then I'd like two more files in the same form. One just for audio files, and one just for video files. I'm not sure if we have an immediate use case; this is rather a tangent from a user discussion. So no great rush; but it would be nice to know if this is expected to be quick and easy or may take a while.
