Hi Kunal Verma
Thank you for raising this issue. The reason why we don't want to allow story editing is because there are voting systems in place, and thus, if someone raises a story for "fix bug", then gets 1000 votes, and then changes the description to "add feature", all with the attempt to manipulate the system to their own advantage, they could. The only way that I would say editing should be possible, would be if we would be able to add limitations such as, when there are no votes on a story and comments, or within a time frame, say, within the 24 hours from posting. Something along those lines to ensure a fair system.

I think that existing description should be shown in editor, so that it can be updated according to need of user. A clear and concise description of what you want to happen. Additional context
Want to confirm @cyntss https://github.com/cyntss if this is feature (should work like as it is working right now) or bug(should work as described in this issue). Add any other context about the feature request here.

Thank You Cynthia Sanchez for clarifying this thing. I think the idea supposed by you, of making description editable within a certain time limit sounds good. Moreover, I thought of other possibilities too like, we can consider to allow editing, but keep a record of the original version of the story and the edited version just like gitHub comments and issues have. This way, it would be wholly transparent and we can see what changes were made and when they were made, but it would take extra space in database, so not that much preferable. So, to work upon this should I start updating it to allow edit before 12 or 24 hrs from its posting and after that this edit would be disabled and normal edit would be enabled. Please revert with what time limit would be better.
