a contributor must identify itself by providing a name and a valid email address (create an account?). Email will be used by the contribution reviewer to communicate, when evaluating the contribution.
a contribution can be provided with an excel sheet (using guidelines and excel template), that pre-fills the study/building/room fields
a contribution is always staged: a reviewer (Bowen) will go through the submission, will communicate with the contributor and will amend the form if necessary before approval.
the contributed datasets are to be annotated at submission time with the iaq data schema (timestamp, voc, temperature, co2 etc), measurement unit is to be provided, link to building/room is to be specified if not defined within the dataset.
a completion score should be displayed to encourage contribution effort
some fields are "recommended" meaning a warning message will be displayed to contributor. Mandatory fields will block submission if not provided.
