@iglobalhealth and/or Gio, Vin, or Stef, suggested "visualizing" the computed carbon footprint in various ways for a better UX.

One cool such "visualization" would be to give the user their footprint along with the price of offsetting their emissions. A link to a charity that does carbon capture or plants trees (etc.) could be included to motivate users to actually offset their project-related emissions.

Equivalents like the distance a petrol car can travel with the same footprint, as done in the tool shown by @tristantreb , would also be very cool.
