Cloning repository with git:/github.com uses ssh which does not work from behind proxy. Suggest change to https://github.com cloning which is compatible with proxy.

This needs update to work with unsernames and paths that have spaces. This is more typical on windows computers, and infrequent on UNIX/linux systems.

This change allows for directories/paths with spaces and usernames with spaces. Spaces in directory names and user names are common on Windows systems.
