how work the VTK importer #2

Good Morning, I completed the flow simulation on DualSphysics, and now I have my part fluid in vtk shape. As describe in the the conference paper “Advanced fluid visualisation with DualSPHysics and Blender” I can read it with Paraview and it's perfect for some results, but I would like to do some realistic view in blender now. In blender I succeed to import the solid part (as stl), but I don’t understand how to import my vtk parts. Could you help me please? Need I some other software (other than blender)? I have a second question, with blender can we produce some 2D realistic views? Thank you a lot. Best regards

Dear Pierre,

you need to install VisualSPHysics in addition to Blender. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this here. You can also find how to use the addon to import vtk files here.

Thank you a lot again, now I succeed to open my VTK on blender.

Good Afternoon, I'm sorry to disturb you again, but I have a new problem that I don't succeed to solve. I tried with many simulations 2D and 3D, but It's always the same problem.

Now thanks to your previous help, I always succeed to open my VTK file, and I can see my particles moving. But my problem is now for the rendered. I try 2 types of simulations (fluid ans foam simulations) and in this 2 cases, I can't apply to my particles a texture or material, and when I put the rendered view, all disappeared.

My friend, I have encountered some problems. Blender flashes back when I import VTK files on Linux. Is there any solution, please help me！
