Flagging and deletion

We need to consider this from:

• ADMIN
• CREATOR/SUBMITTER

ADMIN:

• Should be able to: manually "blue flag", delete, override automatic / manual flags and delete requests, leave notes documenting these actions.

• (Can also: edit all records, document changes to records in history and internal notes.)

• Reports:

  • Can already edit reports and document changes in dialog box at end.
  • Can already override existing automatic flags using "x" (Josh, please remove the "x" when there is green flag! It is not needed; that is the resting state.) At minimum the override should be recorded in the history with flag details as well. Admin can leave notes in the internal notes.
  • Still need to be able to identify delete request. Should be on list and record itself. How can we find records with a delete request? Is this stored with other flags? Should we create a special "flag" for this so all backend users can see the delete request?
  • Still need to be able to just "delete" any record.
  • Still need to be able to override delete request, in a similar way as for flags currently...including note.
  • Still need to be able to manually flag any record and add a note for admin. viewable by admin and creator/submitter only on list and record. "Blue flag".
  • Still need to be able to override manual flag. At minimum the override should be recorded in the history with flag details as well. Admin can leave notes in the internal notes.

• (Creator can also edit own report records, document changes to own report records, add/manage local IDs in all Institution records; Submitter can only add/manage local IDs in all Institution records.)

• Reports:

  • Creator can already edit reports and document changes in dialog box at end. (Submitter not)
  • Still need to be able to make delete requests, including mandatory information such as: requestor, date and reason.
  • Should be able to identify records with delete request (need special flag type something) for list and record itself.
  • Still need to be able to manually flag any record and add a note for admin. viewable by admin and creator/submitter only on list and record. "Blue flag".

• Institutions:

  • Creator/Submitter can add and manage local IDs in institution record.
  • Still need to show flags on results list.
  • Still need to be able to identify delete request. Should be on list and record itself.
  • Still need to be able to manually flag any record and add a note viewable all users on list and record. "Blue flag".

• Agencies:

  • Agencies already edit address/contact information at the moment.

The concept of "blue flag" is pretty new and since every endpoint is using flags, this is a pretty big development which is definitely takes more time.
