Goal/Purpose
The objective is to implement a detailed and functional aircraft model in Gazebo for simulation and testing purposes.
User Story
As a developer, I want a detailed aircraft model in Gazebo, so that I can accurately simulate and analyze aircraft behavior during testing/debugging.
Acceptance Criteria
The aircraft model accurately represents the physical and aerodynamic properties of the specified aircraft (see technical notes)
The model is fully compatible with Gazebo 11
The aircraft model can be controlled and interacted with within the Gazebo environment.
Technical Notes
Model Specifications: Large-scale, multi-rotor drone model aligning with a typical quad-copter design.
Current Hardware Status: As of now, hardware/build team does not have a physical drone available. This simulation will serve as a preliminary model, providing a starting point for development and testing while the final drone specifications are being determined.
