This is probably because I am using the same phone number already for an account for the ERNI moods app, using the same backend I guess. Maybe the designers need to think about segregating the apps.

True. But having one User Collection for all of our Community Apps is also very useful,

Maybe we can just provide a nicer error message?

"Opps... it looks like you already registered on one of our Community Applications"

Something like that?
