Model Component is misspelled.

Not a CIM2 issue. We'll revisit all the documentation.

murphysj commented 9 years ago

It is. all this documentation is IN the CIM, part of the UML. Ask Allyn to give you a tour at some point. I did a longer comment on documentation issues on a different ticket.

This is all just a case of "dotting the Is and crossing the Ts." For what it's worth, I'll go through in the next week and update these.

Sorry. I was ambiguous.

I mean don't do that, we'll revisit all the internal documentation in the CIM and do the dots and things then. If you do it in the current version it might not propagate. The new version (if it become the new verision) will be defined in python, and I've already ported the existing documentation ...

This issue is that this bad documentation is showing up for users NOW in the Questionnaire. I don't think we can wait until 2.0 to see these fixed. I know Cecelia has an opinion on this as well.

Hi Sylvia

I thought this was an issue tracker for CIM2 ... not for fixes to current active versions (to which minor fixes can/should be made)?

I assumed it just covered active versions.

I can go ahead and make changes that don't impact the structure of the CIM or follow-on-tools.

Let's add a label CIM1.x and CIM2.x to distinguish tickets from now on.

This is the issue tracker for the CIM itself.

Which release of the CIM a ticket gets assigned to is a separate process.

We create milestones for each release and move the tickets over.

Happy to give you a tour if you like.

:-) OK, now we have a controlled vocabulary for what we are doing. Still, I'm glad you drew my attention to this. I suggest you add future definitely CIM2 tickets to the issue tracker I've got on esdoc-nb ... for the moment .. I'll move them back to github if/when it grows up enough to join the esdoc ecosystem. And if it never gets there, I'll stiill move the tickets ...
