Who are the PIs? What is the rationale? - I know this is obvious but I'll need some text for this. Why are there two temporal constraints? - start year is 2020 end year is 2024 or 2050 (5 or 31 years).

Draft text for rationale: The impact of Covid-19 lockdown/restrictions on emissions reductions and their impact on climate. How do different recovery scenarios look over the coming years-decades?

charliepascoe commented 3 years ago

PI: Chris Jones for now, more to be added in due course.

charliepascoe commented 3 years ago

There are two temporal constraints depending on whether the experiment examines near term effects and/or recovery. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Uj0aVoS-LIi0eBU7tuWyfultuAu8tfkX/view

First draft contains all information bar the forcing constraints.

I've made a first go at documenting the new covid-19 experiments. Would be useful to get feedback from the PIs about land use and solar forcing, for the time being these are the same as ssp245.

COVID-MIP experiments are now on the ES-DOC e.g. https://documentation.es-doc.org/cmip6/experiments/ssp245-covid
