Should there be a more clear distinction between saving and publishing a document? Currently, when a document is published via the project page, it also winds up saving that document in the db (b/c that document will have had its version incremented).

This makes the "last modified" cell in the table change which can be unexpected for users (but see #437).

Should it be made explicit what is happening?

Perhaps by using a button labelled "save and publish" rather than just "publish"?

Perhaps by having a popup confirmation box explaining that saving will also occur?
