@Schpidi / @GarinSmith - Are there additional instructions available for publishing an experiment or workflow to the OSC? Currently, I understand that a PR should be submitted to open-science-catalog-metadata. However, the README only refers to STAC. Since experiments and workflows are expected to use OGC API Records, it would be helpful to know:
Any additional guidance on this process would be much appreciated!

Hi @Schpidi, can you please update the Architecture Document in Teams to clarify? Please refer to the Platform ICD section that we reviewed before. Please update 2 Publish Product (to reflect the current process) 3 Publish Experiment (to reflect the current process) and add links to the current specification or add a brief description to allow the platforms to submit Products (STAC) or Experiments/Workflows (OGC API Records) Please also update 6 Validate Experiment 7 Execute Experiment as needed.
Note that we need this to be described sufficiently so that all platforms can submit valid Products (STAC) or Experiments/Workflows (OGC API Records) to GitHub so that they can be processed (now or later) using the publishing mechanism. Hopefully this is pretty simple and to start with we just need: i) The GitHub location ii) The relevant schemas This is particular important since both Vito (@JanssenBrm) and Brockmann (@TejasMorbagal ) have indicated that the would like to use this approach in the first instance (and not the common BB approach using the GitClerk Gui tool, at least to start with).
Hi @JanssenBrm , You previously asked for guidance about what should be published from the CDSE platform into the EarthCODE catalogue. I think this is perhaps best answered by the ESA Vision statement. Currently the vision says, "The vision for this project is to enable all ESA-funded earth system science activities under block-4 Science for Society to have their outcomes FAIR, Open, and long-term discoverable and useable by the wider community from an ESA portal – namely the EarthCODE Portal. " Hopefully this guidance helps.
The current preference from Vito is to use Direct publishing straight to GitHub.
We can continue to consider the EOX Gui (GitClerk) JavaScript Tool as an option if things change.
