@Katetc let me know about a case that's failing for Gustovo.

General bug information

CTSM version you are using: ctsm5.2.005

Does this bug cause significantly incorrect results in the model's science? [Yes / No]

Configurations affected: ne30pg3_t232 with CLM51%BGC-CROP

Details of bug

It chooses a finidat for 1850 ne30np4.pg3 on the gx1v7 grid, but use_init_interp is not properly set to TRUE like it should be.
