RSA server certificate CommonName does not match server name #581

/var/log/httpd/error_log reports the following warning.

[warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `{vmhost}' does NOT match server name!?

Did something not get done that needed to get done when we got the new cert?

My guess is this is specific to the "grim.llnl.gov" using the SubjectAltName for esgf-dev2.llnl.gov? If just a warning, it will be annoying, but not harmful. Do we have this problem with the self-generated certs on this or other nodes?

Also, server-specific issues are better logged internally, IMO.

It looks like it has been happening in the past as well. Going to close this for that reason and any future discussion can happen via other channels.
