Nowhere in our tables or visuals do we show the total number of citations that would be fed into screening. The result of dedup_citations(citations), which we have normally called unique_citations represents everything that is unique as well as the merged duplicate records, however, from discussions with users I don't think we do a good job of showing this information. I also think that in the vignettes we should change the name of unique_citations to something else that is more accurate such as total.
