I didn't see any changes related to this......
This behavior started with the version .5.4.1011 Hot Fix; the preceding version .5.4.1008 does not do this. It is reproducible every time. Stay on same stream (minimize Foobar or not) and when song changes after the first one you started from the stream, lyrics will jump past the top of panel.
This animated GIF illustrates what happens at the point of a radio stream's song change after the first song is played (after about 15 seconds):

I rarely used radio stream(or unsynced lyric). You can try this one and see if its fixed.
THANK YOU, yes, it is fixed in the build you attached! Thanks for staying with me on this and the extra work involved. I use almost 100% USYLT radio streams in Foobar. FYI for others: this fixed version has the same version number as the newest release (.5.4.1019) but the dll date is 10/17/2023. I installed the fixed version on top of the existing release version.
version 0.5.4.1019, Foobar 1.6.16 -- Radio Stream Metadata lyrics
When a song has lyrics properly displayed in Foobar with its first line at the correct set point, when a new song begins in that stream, its new lyrics display beginning past the top of the panel. This does not happen in version 0.5.4.1008 with identical panel preferences.
Song playing while lyrics display at normal start point acc. to panel preferences:
When another song begins on the same stream, its lyrics start projected past the top of the panel:
