An update of the port to gust. I have tested the intel compiler extensively, but have also tested the following:
SMS.f19_g17.X.gust_cray
SMS.f19_g17.X.gust_nvhpc
SMS.f19_g17.X.gust_oneapi
SMS.f19_g17.X.gust_gnu
The cray compiler is not working when optimization is enabled - it crashed in esmf init. I will need to explore this further.
