Provide ESMValTool on JASMIN's new Jupyter Notebook service #1594

JASMIN has introduced a Jupyter Notebook service. Making ESMValTool available on that would be something that I feel could be an absolute game-changer in terms of uptake and usage of ESMValTool. It'd allow the tool to be used much more widely, easily used for teaching, etc.

cool, cheers Rob @rjp23 - I will probably wait for the stable release, have a central installation done on Jasmin then I'll start looking into the notebook, indeed a lot of nice things with a Jupyter notebook :beer:

Yes, this would be particularly useful once we have implemented a more complete Python API as proposed in ESMValGroup/ESMValCore#498. We hope to complete this in the next few months.
