Error No. [2] #18

I tried to run your program under Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit machine. The guest OS is Ubuntu 14.04 32-bit And here is my output: Formatting '../../RAMDISK/rd/ssd_hda.img', fmt=qcow size=17179869184 encryption=off [FTL_INIT] start [SSD_MONITOR] SERVER THREAD CREATED!!! [SSD_MONITOR] Wait for client....[13] [SSD_MONITOR] Connected![14] [SSD_MONITOR] Error No. [2] [SSD_IO_INIT] SSD Version: 1.2 ver. (17.11.10) [FTL_INIT] complete

Can you tell me what happened? screenshot

Please let me know the details of your situations.

Did the QEME and the SSD monitor windows create?

I can’t find any problem in your output.

Thank you. My question is, there is an infinity loop. And the QEMU window is flashing (screen shot cannot show this point). I waited for a long time, and nothing different happened. The QEMU window is always black as the screen shot above.

My installation should be correct without any error.

I think the current ubuntu (16.04 or later) does not properly support the old versioned qemu used in VSSIM.

I recommend you two options.

  1. Run VSSIM on ubuntu 14.04 or early version.
  2. Use VSSIM_nvme branch

VSSIM_nvme branch uses latest version of qemu.

So I think it will work on your environment without the infinity loop problem.
