seme and a merge into a combined character! #21

when i type seme then a (in ucsur) they merge into a seme a combined character. i don't want this to happen! same issue occurs with multiple of the word 'a'—they turn into double stick and triple stick a.

You can prevent this from happening by inserting U+200C ZERO WIDTH NON-JOINER between the characters, or in ASCII mode, |. Your input method probably has a way of creating the ZWNJ.

Indeed, what stella described is a valid work around for now. But this will be updated in the next version (these characters will be accessible most likely by using ZWJ).
