The internal reference needs the first few ADC samples after startup to settle, which causes some measurement drift in the first +/-100 samples. See also ADS131E08S datasheet, p. 24, fig. 30.
Workarounds
trigger a very short measurement after startup to let the reference settle, or
skip the first 200 samples during analysis of a measurement taken after RocketLogger startup/reboot/reset
