B2MML creates common types for each element and subelement in the common schema; Many of the common types in the common schema simply reference common types like codeType, IdentifierType, string, etc. In the BHP JSON, we just used common types like string, array, object, etc. What is the ERDI design rule?

The B2MML types were added to support the UN/CEFACT standard, as recommended by multiple MESA members (and SAP). This is clearly defined in the document, and should not be changed.
