Install Error When Updating #23

What steps will reproduce the problem?

When I am updating to the latest code I get the following error when I install 
the Core component

Error

Can you provide path and query segment URL of faulty page?
example: 

The code above has the links

Extra information - this is a new Joomla site latest release not RC

The only other thing added was an EVE skin for Joomla

What version of the product are you using? Please provide version of core
component (com_eve) and faulty component (com_...).

Please provide any additional information below. Try turn on joomla debug
mode.

I've got no currently idea, why the package doesn't install on linux. But try 
this:

Extract content of archive and upload files to 
/home/evezooin/public_html/blast/tmp/com_eve . Then go to Administrator -> 
Extensions -> Install/Uninstall -> Install from Directory: enter the path and 
give it a try.

Ok, now I have an idea: stupid windows phing build thing does create archives 
with \ instead of / in directory/file names.

Next packages will be ok, I promise. For now, please use method I described 
earlier, or extract and rezip the archive.

New packages are available. Should be *nix friendly.
