Character view menu layout doesn't pull the user that's logged in. #8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. setting up a menu using EVE character view layout

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is the member EVE character info.  None is shown.  The 
hyperlink "character sheet" returns an empty sheet as well.  See issue 7.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

It would be nice to have a configurable option to only allow members of a 
predefined alliance or corp to become registered.
