Disagree, view is clean and simple as is.

There is quite a lot of ugly CSS to maintain it, and I'd rather display it in a
format that no longer looks foreign when CCP update the loadout display within
the game - either now or in the future.
Proposal attached - allows easier addition and removal of future bits.

Actually half committed in revision 9 by accident, this mostly completes my
proposed simplification of the fittings display. I'd like to also represent
empty slots properly in further updates.

they both look ok however the original layout is what people have been
acustomed to seeing in game and on most apps and can associate with the layout
easily one of my concerns is that their are a lot of people in game that use
OOE in its present format that cant read and realy on the fitting grid !!!
or maybe I think to much into it !!

You may be right. I'm not feeling the new layout much. I think I'll revert back
to trunk on this stuff.
My only concern is newer players would not have seen the old grid in-game, so
it may look a bit odd to them.

Actualy a lot of the evedev killboards are using a module now this is quite
similar to the original layout ( http://kb.a-c-e.eu/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=17641
) take a peek ill talk to my co CEO to see about trialing it as a template in
ooe app and pass on for your aproval if we do so.

Reverted to old ship loadout display

That's a nice loadout display (I like the seamless integration of the
background graphic behind the ship's type graphic :D), but a bit hectic to add
at this point.
I will definitely revisit this after 1.7's release.

yes it is a nice layout the only drawback with it is that the icon pck is
stored in the mod itself at this tim
