Sometimes works, sometimes it times out, others it throws an error. #119

TEA Version? 1.3.0 r169

SMF Version? SMF 2.0.3

What steps will reproduce the problem?

When trying to register API's its a crap shoot on what will happen.  It will 
only successfully register someone 1/3 of the time, even then usually after 
they hit get characters / register / reload the page a few times.  

I have received these 2 error messages during testing as well.
