Motivation

• 대규모 데이터 공유 -> 개인정보 문제
• DPGAN의 경우, privacy budget이 낮을 때 synthetic data에서의 utility loss
• PATE-GAN의 경우, synthetic data의 라벨이 틀릴 때 실제 데이터의 분포를 학습할 수 없음

Method

• Discriminator가 아니라, Gradient aggregation 과정에서 DP 보장

1. split data

2. train teacher discriminator(real, synthetic data)

3. using DP-gradient_aggregator: teacher disciminator의 gradient를 aggregate, noise 추가(DP 보장)

   • random projection
   • gradient disretization

4. student generator에게 aggregate결과(fake sample, gradient) 전달
