"Their code goes against our EULA and Terms of Use by bypassing server-based authentication and changing memory state on the client to simulate a successful sign in without actually performing any form of authentication or license check with the authentication server."

reasons why you should submit a counter dmca notice:

  1. there already exist cracked minecraft launchers like tlauncher etc... that can join servers without authentication
  2. the client is NOT simulating a successful sign in without authentication its just the "online-mode" in server.properties set to false
  3. no copyrighted assets by mojnag/microsoft are used in eagler reborn
  4. compiling eagler reborn is equivalent to compiling forge/fabric bc it decompiles and patches of the licensed minecraft client jar without distributing/sharing any code in the repo

Eaglercraft's buildtools are also potentially against copyright law. From the GitHub Guide to Submitting a Counter Notice: Copyright laws are complicated and can lead to some unexpected results. In some cases a takedown notice might allege that your source code infringes because of what it can do after it is compiled and run.
