Enable Hard Mode

Because a war Plugin is currently in development It is time to enhance EMC's PvP environment using explosion's. Setting The Game Difficulty to Hard would enable the usage of Crystal/respawn ancore PvP because the game difficulty controls explosion's damage. This would enhance the PvP environment by introducing a new playstyle to the game especially since more PvP will happen fighting over objectives with the new war plugin. Currently On EMC the Game Difficulty is Set to Easy. My assumption is Fix did this to dial back villager breeding however they have since been nerfed because of this there is no reason to Not to increase the Games Difficulty to Hard.

Turn The server From Easy Mode to Hard Mode

PvP isnt the main point of the server, and Hard mode's effects arent JUST end crystals (also respawn anchors are expensive) they'll increase mob spawns, meaning mob drop prices will drop massively. Ender pearls, creepers, string and spider eyes. Other than mob farms, any town with mob spawns on wont be able to walk around at night. "just turn mobs off" no, theres some people who enjoy killing mobs but when theres TOO many its a problem.

It does enable the possibility for players to starve to death instead of 1/2 hp but I didn't put it up in the main thread because it doesn't really effect anyone within the current game loop of the sever currently the server is in a spot where 2 vote crates gives you more or less a full diamond set + all enchants besides mending Hell most Major shops has a food dispenser even afking doesn't reduce food which would be relevant It does increase Mob damage specifically but again that's not very relevant with the current state of the server

But It doesn't effect people who don't want to do it and there's no reason to not have it as a option for people who do want to do it from a economic standpoint

Thats if the prices don't change and stay the same however we have no way of knowing that I will say its very feasible to get around that problem to a dedicated player who is not nessisarly rich

This would be beneficial I think, allow for some changes for PVPers making us in line with other major servers.

Great idea! Could definitely benefit the server to include more PVP options for war. If players don’t want to participate in the combat forms that would be added, they really don’t have to.

Villagers are gutted Hard mode will only make it faster to setup new villager farms
