Just upgraded to FF 45, the latest. The +/- are there.
That icon is part of YUI's SAM skin. I don't see where we overwrite it.
It uses a sprite that contains a bunch of stuff in there: background: url(../../../../assets/skins/sam/sprite.png) repeat-x 0 -200px;
the 0 -200px, is an indication of what portion of the sprite is being used background-position: 0px -200px;
Hi Sylvia,
I am running Firefox 45.0 in Linux Mint 17.3 but my colleague is using Windows and has the same issue.
However, I believe the cause is not Firefox itself but a Addon, "NoScript". I didn't block anything for the ESGF sites but I still don't see the Buttons. If I disable the Addon it works fine. Any idea on that? Or is this maybe something we should report to the NoScript guys?
Thanks, Katharina
Hi Sylvia,
There was just a new update of NoScript available which fixed the problem.
Sorry for all the trouble.

Hi Luca, all,
After upgrading Firefox to version 45.0 the +/- buttons to expand the search categories are hidden in CoG. I still can expand the menu by clicking on the default expand location but I don't see the + and - buttons. Please also see the attached picture.
Everything is still working fine in Chrome and using an older version of Firefox.
Thanka, Katharina
