Improve search on dataset ids #1356

One thing that is very confusing with the free text search is how to search for a specific dataset ID. If you happen to know, you can precede with "master_id:" or "instance_id:", depending whether the version is part of the search term or not. Either the interface should tell the user that they have to do this, or it should provide a "smart search" which automatically handles a search term that appears to be a dataset ID with or without version. I think I raised this some time ago, but I don't think anything has really changed.

I have inserted some text and example under the [More Search Options] panel that opens and closes.
