Open question: What are the differences between the different Picarro devices?
We have to sort this out. There could be differences in the total number and/or the names of the data columns in the measurement csv data files produced by the machines, so not all machines might deliver the exact same information in their output. However, I haven't encountered this with the Potsdam devices. Check back with Bremerhaven what they mean.
@thomas-muench Thanks for the reply. Who should I contact about this?
Thanks for the offer. I wrote Melanie an email about this since she brought up the topic. I am waiting for the answer.
@thomas-muench todo
I checked back with Melanie about this; there is no general problem.
Although there are some differences between side information written to the measurement files depending on Picarro device and measurement mode (causing variable number of data columns), the main information we need all come from columns which are named the same across the devices. These are:
Line
(maybe not needed)Time Code
Inj Nr
Identifier 1
Identifier 2
d(18_16)Mean
mean d18O value for the injectiond(D_H)Mean
mean dH value for the injectionH20_Mean
mean vapour concentration value for the injectiond(18_16)_SD
standard deviation of the d18O value for the injectiond(D_H)_SD
standard deviation of the dH value for the injectionH20_SD
standard deviation of the vapour concentration value for the injectionOkay, thanks for checking! Closing this issue.
