When I try to validate this file with the default check, something strange happens with DPF Manager. First it seems to have trouble analyzing the file. The app seems to be blocked, I get the spinning mouse wheel and when I try to close DPF Manager, the app crashes. Finally, after 4 minutes, the validation is complete. (The results page says 0:2:37, the task box says 00:04:03.) On the reports page, DPF says that 0 files are checked.
When I try to open the report, the page keeps on loading eternally.
The file was probably created in 2007 with Adobe Photoshop. I see that it still has layers (and layer compression). Could this cause some troubles?
When I open the file, flatten it and resave it without compression, DPF Manager validates it without problems. It does have the following error for Baseline TIFF 6.0
IFD-0017
IFD1
Incorrect Extra Samples Count
When I open the file and just resave it with layers, it takes less time for DPF to validate the file, but I am still not able to open the results page.
I tried to validate another file of the same batch and the results seem similar.
