port problem #56

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Now I am getting an error "please verify that you are using the right port"
or something like that
2. Loading arduino I don't have any problems with port
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I tried 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 all with the same result and I am using vista 7

Please provide any additional information below.

It seems to be a driver issue. Try removing FTDI drivers and reinstall latest
ones from http://www.ftdichip.com/FTDrivers.htm, check back with results.
