This concept provides a comprehensive analysis with the main focus on strategies for achieving success in digitization processes, especially aimed at IT projects within the public sector. The study carefully examines key aspects related to benefit management.

By using a systematic approach, the research work will delve into methods, best practice and challenges related to the implementation of digitization in the public sector. The goal is to identify successful strategies that can help organizations maximize the value of their IT projects and thus strengthen their digital transformation.

This concept establishes the basis for a comprehensive study which aims to provide insight, guidance and practical solutions to succeed with digitization in an increasingly challenging public sector.

This report is part of a series of publications from the Concept-programmet, which focuses on research related to the development and quality assurance of large investment projects in Norway. The report has been approved as a level 1 scientific publication channel.
