No music played in Sudden Death #558

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install version 0.9.18, 09.19 alpha 1 or 2.
2. Tested in Normal and Highlander mode

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The music from the theme Hell (hell.ogg) used to play when sudden death kicked 
in but it no longer does so.

N.B. I have disabled frontend sounds/music only.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Windows 7 64 bit

Please provide any additional information below.

This is an old issue. Was working up to and including version 0.9.17.

Someone, don't recall who, disabled hell.ogg in a number of themes for SD 
'cause they didn't like it.
In other words, believe it was a deliberate change...
Will try to find the revision in a bit.

So. I believe the complaint was the music was not appropriate to all themes.
I'm thinking one solution could be to add an sd-music variable.

If it was not set, no music.
It could be set to various oggs which might be SD appropriate on that theme.
Hell is one.  Castle and main themes could also be good.

Thanks for the clarification. Personally, I preferred it the way it was before. 
If I select enable music in the game options, I expect music! ;)

A theme option for SD music would be appreciated, at least then I could go and 
modify each theme back to how it was.

random side-note: the other day some player told me that some parts of hell.ogg 
sound like human screams to him (I never occured to me until that; not sure if 
these are even supposed to be screams) and that he can't play hell theme 
because of that (very sensitive guy I guess)

I personally would like a song for SD that is not used for anything else, othat 
than SD.

OMG, I hear it! Fair enough then, kind of got spooked out myself. ;) Anything 
you have in mind? Something with a ticking rhythm perhaps that gets 
progressively faster? A la Space Invaders?

Is this still not fixed?

While just not adding the Hell music back as a temporary solution and remove it 
right the moment you have a better solution available? Complete silence 
certainly seems like a bug to me. I know some people don’t like this music 
for SD but its better than complete silence for me.

 “It’s more dramatic.” seems like a cheap excuse for not doing any music. :P

Just to make it clear: I suggest hell.ogg as the default music but I am open to 
change if a better music pops up, i.e. a music especially created for Sudden 
Death.

I am oppsed to having no music at all.
