Create unit test which runs in cluster mode #310

The remote module loading ('require' on cluster) has been broken for around 2 months. We need a unit test which runs in cluster mode, so these kind of problems can be caught. I am not sure if this can be done such that it runs on a local cluster on anyone's machine, or if we need to have a cluster which is always available which the test could be run against.
