@camerondow35 , sorry to reopen this, and to not have commented on it earlier, but this selection criteria seems a little marginal. And, of course, these windows both extend well past the greenup date ( table below for reference). However, that's okay because we're not just looking at greenup). What I think saves it is the fact that it corresponds to the groupings of the dominant species in terms of productivity. I'm adding a note on that.

We might, however, just consider just using April temperature.
