I was trying to see if maybe removing the word "Figure" in front of the reference removes the repetition, but I don't know how to view it on a pdf to check that the changes happened...

Great, thanks! The trouble with this version of the figure is that metadata doesn't make its own CommunityProfile, it's added to the MicrobiomeSamples in CommityProfiles. Also, I want to be sure to show that individual CommunityProfiles can be merged with commjoin().
