Here are my initial edits/suggestions for the manuscript!

Comments on figures:

• Fig1
  • maybe use different color for features? right now it looks very similar to taxon
  • can the background colors be a lighter and the text colors be darker? it might be slightly easier to read that way
• Fig2:
  • “Julia function” arrow color and key color do not look the same? the key color looks lighter. can they match?
  • also is it possible to make the “Julia function” key symbol an arrow instead of a square? to match what’s actually happening in the figure?
  • caption suggestion: "Microbial community analysis workflow for/using/with Microbiome.jl and BiobakeryUtils.jl”

I'm not sure why my previous edits on the package itself did not update when I pulled from BioJulia:main? So please ignore those!!!
